Philpost, SM Davao celebrate World Post Day

In celebration of the World Post Day, SM Supermalls in partnership with the Philippine Postal Corporation will hold Pinasaya at SM City Davao and other key SM malls nationwide on Thursday, October 9.

“Pinasaya,” the postal awareness campaign aims to develop the writing skills of students and help them hone their composition skills, as well as foster the enjoyment of sending and receiving letters through the postal office.

SM and Philpost first celebrated the occasion last year with Sulat Mulat which aimed to reintroduce the art of letter writing to students and encourage them more to use letters as a means of communication in today’s digital age. This year, the students will get to experience sending postcards to their loved ones not only in the Philippines but also abroad.

Last year, there were more than 150 students who participated in the letter writing day. Philpost is expecting at least 300 students on Thursday. (PL)
