Mangosteen

The past few weeks, we have been blessed with the abundance and low price of mangosteen as many fruit vendors can be found around the city during those times.

She also gave me about a kilo of these mangosteen a week before the festival when we were about to go on a long weekend break from school because of a local holiday. Those mangosteen she gave me she said came from their own harvest in their own land. She said she has decided to share their blessings and give us her friends at school some of their harvested mangosteen.
I got these mangosteen from a vendor selling outside the school canteen. I also love getting lanzones which I can eat as many as I can and want in one seating especially when they are sweet, juicy and delicious!
