Thank you Olan Emboscado (3rd from right) of The Apo View Hotel for inviting us to witness the festive Kadayawan Fiesta at Apo View while enjoying the special Kadayawan merienda buffet at Cafe Josefina!
As a foodie, I surely enjoyed a festive afternoon plus the delightful merienda while chatting with Olan and friends.
This Bibingka Royale gave me a delightful surprise as I found out it has salted egg! I really liked it since I have become a fan of a mini-bibingka with salted egg sold by a store.
I had a craving for cassava cake a few weeks ago and their Filipino buffet merienda indeed satisfied that once more.
What is a Kadayawan merienda buffet feast without the bounty of fresh fruits for guests and diners to enjoy eating a healthy merienda!
Fried Cassava
The Halo-Halo station…
My halo halo obviously showed my liking for the ube jam.
There were also assorted pastries that was part of the merienda buffet.
Also macaroni salad…
Also part of the activities was the Hulagway sa Kadayawan Photo Exhibit by select Davao Photographers for Peace. The rock band Razorback also performed live at the newly renovated hotel’s bar, the Blue Room last August 17, 2013.
