Colors at Museo Dabawenyo
Photo Friday: Colors at Museo Dabawenyo
Here is a photo of an artwork full of colors that will greet your eyes once you step inside the main front door of Museo Dabawenyo here in Davao City. It is placed at the top of the stairs leading up to the second floor. This is the only section where visitors and tourists going there are allowed to take photos. No photos are allowed to be taken inside the four galleries in the museum.
This artwork is called the Tri-People painting by Banjo Satorre Jr.
This mixed media work of art represents from left to right… the Muslims (5%) + Christians (85%) + Indigenous People or the Lumads (10%) living in Davao City.
