This Sunday, July 19, at 3pm, SM Lanang Premier, in partnership with the Office of the City Veterinarian and Pet Zoofari, will have a Grand Membership Day for all dog lovers, along with the launch of an official dog club, at the mall’s Fountain Court grounds. Pinoy ‘dog whisperer’ Jojo Isorena will serve as the special guest for the event.

Calling all dog lovers! Join the Grand Membership Day of Pets Social this July 19, 3 pm at SM Lanang Premier Fountain Court grounds to get exclusive access to pet-related events and perks.

The said dog club, aptly called Pets Social, lets pet owners share their love for dogs with a community of dedicated dog lovers and handlers and enjoy perks, treats and events with their furry friends. Members of Pets Social will get exclusive access to trainings and seminars on responsible pet ownership, pet nutrition and diet, once a month activity or event, raffle prizes and freebies during the Grand Membership Day, card holder discounts from Pet Zoofari, free pet consultation and free anti-rabies vaccination by the Office of the City Veterinarian for the first 100 registrants on July 19.

Making the said event more special is the featured guest Jojo Isorena, US-certified canine training and behavior specialist and president of the Better Dog Canine Behavior Center, the first professional training facility in the Philippines that educates owners in building better relationships with their dogs through reward-based training methods. Isorena will discuss on dog handling/petting including an introduction on dog sport, conformation, obedience and breeding.

Signing up for SM Lanang Premier’s Pets Social is easy. Interested parties only need to present P500 worth of single or accumulated purchase receipts from Pet Zoofari at the mall’s Lower Ground Level on July 17 to 19 to enjoy one-year membership with Pets Social and receive a membership card. Registration is from 1pm-3pm at The Fountain Court grounds on July 19.

Pets Social is SM Lanang Premier’s latest effort to foster a culture of pet friendliness within the mall and its surrounding communities. Last year, the metro’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination initiated Pet Day Sundays,’ which encouraged pet owners to share precious bonding moments with their favored pooches at the Fountain Court grounds every Sunday.

In May 2013, SM Lanang Premier became the first pet-friendly shopping establishment in Davao City when it launched its ‘Pets Are Welcome Here’ campaign to provide a venue where all pets’ needs are met and ensure a pleasurable shopping experience for pet owners and their pets. It allows small pets to be carried inside mall premises and dog owners to walk their dogs at the mall’s Fountain Court grounds. Pet litter bins are set up just outside the mall building so dog and cat owners can easily clean up after their pets.
