Ryan Cayabyab Singers at SM City Davao on November 29
The Ryan Cayabyab Singers (RCS), a brainchild of the world-renowned Filipino composer and musician Ryan Cayabyab, will sing Christmas carols at SM City Davao on November 29 at the Annex Event Center.
In the past, Cayabyab was also responsible for other successful vocal groups including Smokey Mountain, 14-K, and the San Miguel Master Chorale (SMMC).
The RCS is composed of Poppert Bernadas, VJ Caber, Sheerleen dela Cruz, Celine Fabie, Erwin Lacsa, Vince Lim, Kaich Tiuseco.
The RCS debuted in Davao last 2007, where they received six standing ovations. They also took part in the Filipinas Heritage Library’s Bravo Filipino Concert Series which brought them to perform in Cebu, showcasing the world-class talents of Filipinos through the country’s own music. In June 2008, the group had their 1st international concert tour in Singapore. In October of the same year, they carried out a 12-city tour of the US to raise funds for the benefit of Gawad Kalinga. The group also performed in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
Together, the group’s edge lies in each members’ distinctive, individual talents and personalities, coupled with the youthful enthusiasm that endears them to their fans. Every member contributes to the impeccable vocal ensemble.
