2023 New Year Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal
We passed by this church on New Year’s Day January 1, 2023 on our way home to the north side of Davao. I wanted to visit this beautiful church during the holiday season and it was only during new year that we got to pass by the said church. It has become more beautiful since our last visit and it looks festive and joyful given the holiday season.
January 1 happens to be an important day in the Catholic church and I am happy to have brought my hubby and son here for an evening mass. The Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, a major feast day and a holy day of obligation, which generally means practicing Catholics are required to go to Mass that day or to the vigil Mass the night before.
Grateful for the coming year and looking forward to better days ahead!
