Massage Treat at Olive Leaf Wellness Spa

A regular Mondate with my hubby and my little guy took a different routine as we found ourselves heading late Monday afternoon with our friend who invited us to have a massage at Olive Leaf Wellness Spa.

The heat this particular summer plus reading the news about the coming elections even on social media had added more stress. We definitely need to find some time to relax and get some relief from all the stress and getting a relaxing massage treat is just a perfect idea.

The whole spa was very dimly lit than I expected. It was quiet and it had a calming vibe with the very relaxing and familiar spa music playing. A familiar scent greeted us as we entered the spa.

After choosing our massage treatment at the reception desk at the first floor, which took me quite awhile to decide, we were ushered to the second floor of the spa where we were the only ones there. A different relaxing scent welcomed us as we entered the upper floor.

This is their treatment room for one person. Hubby and I were in a couple section, while our friend was in the adjoining section separated by a curtain.

My hubby went for their Zeus’ Anti-Stress Therapy. This was supposed to be my choice too though I ended up going for their signature massage called Custom Relief from Hephaestus as this will give me an option on which part of the body the therapist should focus the massage more on me. Though I let the lady therapist or masseuse do her job. I just told her at the start that I prefer a soft or gentle massage. Also warned her that I can be ticklish which prevailed at the start of the session as we both ended up giggling just that one time but the rest of the session I was able to control it. The massage was good and relaxing. I didn’t doze off in the massage since I just had an afternoon nap with my boys just before we went to the spa.

The massage session took an hour and half. Hubby and I enjoyed the massage treat overall. There were just a few moments when I felt it could be done more comfortably especially with my right back shoulder and the head massage. I am happy that overall I enjoyed the whole session.

To cap the session they served my choice of hot ginger tea and hubby’s classic tea.

When I woke up the following day at home, I felt more relaxed and wishing we can have that kind of relaxing and stress-relieving massage treat as often as we can.

I want to try next time their Olympian God’s and Goddesses Body Treatments.

I actually wanted to try one when we got there but I decided I should have a massage that would help let me relax and more importantly relieve stress so that hopefully I will experience less headaches triggered lately also by the heat of this summer.

Hubby and I are grateful we had this time to relax our mind and especially our body. It’s a treat this mom and dad really appreciated, thanks to our friends Natalie as well as Ate Jojie Alcantara and of course Olive Leaf Wellness Spa!

They are open from 2:00PM to 2:00AM.
