We were blessed to have been invited to the opening by Ms. Charisse Puentespina, Malagos Garden Resort managing director and the principal designer of the Malagos Chocolate Museum. She is an interior designer by profession who also designed the Subangan Museum in Mati, Davao Oriental; Mount Hamiguitan Heritage Park in San Isidro, Davao Oriental; and the Pusan Point Museum in Caraga, Davao Oriental. She is the daughter of Mr. Roberto and Mrs. Charita Puentespina, the founders of the family-owned group of businesses.
My husband and I along with our little guy enjoyed being part of the invited guests who were the first to see, explore and learn more about Malagos chocolate and chocolates in general. It was fun to go through it as a family – the Malagos Chocolate “Tree-to-Bar” Experience.
The museum boasts interactive cacao and chocolate-related installation that is divided into four parts:
1. The Museum Section where you will learn about the wonders of the cacao and chocolate-making through infographics, AVP, audio lectures, and interactive displays.
2. The Interactive Zone where you can play games with Beanie, the Malagos Chocolate mascot.
3. The Chocolate Bar where you can enjoy all sorts of Malagos Chocolate food and drinks.
4. The Chocolate Laboratory where you can make your own chocolate.

Got to this page because I really missed the Malagos Garden Resort. The kids really loves it here. Especially the Chocolate Museum. I hope they open again soon. They have the best chocolate in the Philippines for me.
