The highlight of day 1 was the Lookbook Live in Davao With Laureen Uy and David Guison at SM Lanang Premier.
Before the Lookbook Live fashion show, a presscon was held at Clawdaddy’s in SM Lanang with some members of the media and blogger present.

After the presscon, the Lookbook fashion show started at the Atrium with music mix done by DJ Rain Sim.

Two of the Philippines’ top fashion and style bloggers Laureen Uy and David Guison were at SM Lanang Premier’s Lookbook Live event last July 19 as they mixed and matched pieces for the runway fashion show.
It featured the season’s hottest fashion trends from participating brands such as Cotton On, Terranova, Esprit, Penshoppe, Marks & Spencer, Promod, Von Dutch, Mossimo, and other brands.
Laureen Uy is the fashion blogger behind the fashion blog www.breakmystyle.com. She is also an actress who has starred at ABS-CBN’s My Binondo Girl and Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw. She is fondly referred to as the baby sister of celebrity stylist Liz Uy.

David Guison is now one of the top male Manila-based fashion bloggers in the Philippines who is also an illustrator. He is the only male ambassador of Forever 21 and also has become an ambassador for many male fashion brands. He won the Best Style Blog during the recently held Globe Tatt Awards 2013. I made a quick look of his site DG MNL at http://davidguison.com/ prior to the Lookbook event. As a foodie and someone who blogs about food as well, I browsed though his FOOD tagged posts initially. It is interesting to know that he is not only a style blogger but a food blogger as well. Browsing through his food shots at the middle of the night made me hungry in no time.
It was fun watching this fashion show. I hope everyone had a great time with the show as well especially for Laureen and David’s fans and readers who came there to meet and greet with their fashion idols. I hope everyone who went to SM Lanang’s Great 3-Day Sale had a great time shopping as well.
