Look For the Meat Inspection Certificate for Your Lechon Baboy
Pretty sure some of you have eaten lechon a few or many times this year especially this holiday season.
This is a friendly reminder from our city government and the office of the city veterinarian. Have you ever asked or have seen a MIC or Meat Inspection Certificate? It should be displayed at the lechon stalls you are buying from. It is time to make a conscious effort to find out if the lechon or meat you’re putting into your body is even safe to eat in the first place. It should have passed the ante-mortem and post mortem inspection.
Actually bawal ang red meat na… for most of us.
How about you, do you do mindful and healthy eating?
Enjoy the holidays and stay healthy!
Let’s be healthy this coming 2024!
