It’s More Fun in the Philippines with LEGO at Davao’s latest shopping and lifestyle hub – SM Lanang Premier!
This is the first and largest ever Philippine-themed LEGO exhibit in Davao City and also in Mindanao in celebration of the 115th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2013.
While you come to shop and dine at SM Lanang Premier, come and visit the giant Philippine map exhibit by LEGO at The Atrium from June 3 to 30, 2013. This is to promote the love of country and sense of national pride among us Filipinos especially for the kids of our generation.
The almost entire LEGO Philippine Map in this photo, this exhibit had adapted the Department of Tourism’s slogan and is called “It’s More Fun in the Philippines with LEGO” with the toy building bricks placed together to re-create the Philippine map with its 7,107 islands that showcases and highlights the famous landmarks, icons and known tourists attractions in the whole Philippines.
The LEGO exhibit has finally made its way to Davao City after its run at SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa-The Block and SM City Cebu in the past years.

Davao’s very own Kadayawan festival is one of the iconic highlights of It’s More Fun in the Philippines with Lego giant PH map exhibit, as shown in the photo above of the street parade held every Kadayawan in the month of August every year.
Pearl Farm beach Resort in Davao, ‘as a premier destination in the Philippines and as a perfect hideaway for those in search of blissful retreat’, is among the places highlighted in the LEGO Philippine map.

Mr Russel Alaba and Ms. Debbie Go, AVPs for Mindanao of SM Supermalls as the creative and fun LEGO Philippine map exhibit was finally unveiled to the public at SM Lanang Premier.
The grand launch and unveiling was done last Monday at 11AM. The boys and I were there at the grand launching and unveiling event along with fellow Davao bloggers to see the GIANT PHILIPPINE MAP EXHIBIT by LEGO.
A few days before Monday, we saw the Lego team working and coordinating with the SMLA team after mall hours. The Lego pieces were not in place yet and so we were excited especially our little boy to see the final Lego pieces all in place.
LAJ Marketing Philippines, the exclusive distributor of the LEGO brand, supported the exhibit along with Air 21, Park in by Radisson Davao, Microtel by Wyndham and BricksPhilippines.com.
Bring your kids who can play at the Lego play area set up near stalls where you can also buy Lego products which I am sure your kids like our own little boy and even those adults who are still ‘kids at heart’ who love Lego will surely love getting new Lego pieces to add to their collection.
