First Science Center in VisMin Opens at SM Lanang Premier
SM Lanang Premier brings another breakthrough in Davao City and the entire region with the forthcoming opening of SM Science Discovery Center Lanang, the first interactive, technology-based science center in Visayas and Mindanao.
This cutting-edge educational facility will be launched to selected guests on Tuesday, 1 October 2013, 2pm, at the 3rd Level entrance near IMAX and Bowling Center at SM Lanang Premier. It will be officially opened to the public on Saturday, 5 October 2013.
The SM Science Discovery Center Lanang features 10 interactive galleries, which allow students and their families to learn about geology, biology, climate, the body, energy and transportation, technology, engineering, and the future, among many other topics, in the most enjoyable and entertaining way.
At the heart of the facility is an 80-seater full dome planetarium powered by the world’s most advanced and sophisticated planetarium projector system, Digistar 5.
