Energen Healthy Breakfast Movement Launching in Davao City- DAVAO LIFE

Energen, in partnership with the Department of Health League of Registered Nutritionists and Dieticians, has just concluded its Energen Healthy Breakfast Movement, encouraging more than 12,000 Filipinos in more than 150 communities in Quezon City, Cebu City and Davao City to make Energen a part if their breakfast habit.

I was invited last June 18, 2016 to the launch of the Energen Healthy Breakfast Movement held at the Davao City Recreation Center (formerly called Almendras Gym) which I attended with my little guy along with a few blogger friends and media. It was also nice to meet Maam Chele Mendoza Associate PR Director of the PR agency. It was nice to meet once again Ms. Ailene Dela Rosa also of the same PR agency who I met long before during their food trip event here in Davao as well as photographer Bren Ang who was also there for the said event.

The Energen Healthy Breakfast Movement includes feeding programs and activities where families enjoyed free one-on-one consultations with licensed nutritionists, nutrition education talks, and fresh cups of Energen in vanilla and chocolate flavors.

The people raised their cups of Energen and cheers to a healthy breakfast!

Samples of Energen were given to the audience along with small packs of pan de sal as well.

We got a dozen pack each of the chocolate and vanilla flavor. They were selling it there for only P1 each on that day of the event. We like the chocolate flavor, my little guy and I both agree though that the vanilla flavor is our favorite for breakfast at home. He still drinks the chocolate variety once in awhile.

Energen is available at sari-sari stores, convenience stores or supermarkets nationwide for only P6.00 standard retail price (SRP). One supermarket we have been to recently is selling it for P5 only each pack. It is also available in ginger flavor which I have yet to find in the supermarkets.

We need a healthy breakfast for proper nutrition. Energen aims to educate and encourage families to appreciate the importance of a healthy and nutritious breakfast to start their day right.
