SM Rolls Out Green Film Festival Anew
GREEN FILM FESTIVAL
As part of SM’s commitment to environmental sustainability and youth development, SM Lanang Premier will be having the SM Green Film Festival (GFF) featuring films and documentaries that shed light on issues that are affecting our world.
The GFF is an initiative of SM Cares, a division of SM Foundation Inc., an umbrella group that handles the corporate social responsibility programs of SM Prime Holdings, Inc. As a responsible mall developer, SM ensures that its CSR programs serve as a catalyst for positive change for the community it serves.
The SM Green Film Festival, which will be conducted in partnership with the Department of Education and Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, with the support of GMA 7, will provide grade school and high school students the opportunity to learn more about the environment. Beginning in July, the film screenings will be conducted for FREE once a month at SM Cinemas and Waltermart theatres nationwide as part of our corporate social responsibility efforts to promote awareness for disaster risk reduction, protection of our planet and conservation of resources. The goal is to reach one million youth.
