Moda Mindanow celebrates its 10th year this 2015 in a fashion design competition showing ingenuity, colors, patterns and creative designs by Mindanao’s promising and talented fashion designers.

Congratulations to the grand winners in the Moda Mindanow 2015 in the Pret-A-Porter, Couture and Innovative categories. All these three designers are from Koronadal City.

Pret A Porter design category… are wearable designs that attract the general market. Designs that have a global appeal that can sell.
The grand winner of the Pret A Porter design category is Sherwin Tiongson of Koronadal City, with a design inspired by the T’Boli Tribe.

Innovative design category… ingenious creations that show the resourcefulness of the designer. This category encourages contestants to experiment and incorporate non-fabric materials to interpret their designs.
The grand winner of the Innovative design category is Duhata of Koronadal City, with a design inspired by the T’Boli Tribe.

Couture design category… high fashion formal wear that shows the creativity of the designer through exquisite embellishment techniques and mastery of dressmaking.
The grand winner in the Couture design category is Archie Castillo of Koronadal City, with a design inspired by the T’Boli Tribe.

It was an inspiring night to kick off the week-long celebration of the Kadayawan Festival in fashion, creativity and ingenuity from promising fashion designers from Mindanao!
