The Day of Valor in the Philippines falls every April 9 each year
and is officially known as Araw ng Kagitingan.
It is a national observance in our country which commemorates the fall of Bataan
to Japanese troops during World War II.
We honor war veterans who served and died for our country.

During this time of the pandemic, we honor all our frontliners
especially in the medical field who are our modern day heroes
serving our country and saving lives of fellow Filipinos.
