A Beautiful Blue & Silver Themed Christmas Tree Lights Up at SEDA Abreeza

Christmas is the season I love most and while it can be the busiest too, it’s always the most JOYful time of the year!

It has been wonderful to be invited to three events of Christmas lighting ceremonies this year plus witness another one by Abreeza Ayala Mall with my boys before this particular one.

One of my personal favorite Christmas trees in this year’s yuletide season that I have seen so far in our beloved Davao City is the one you will find in the lobby upon entering the Seda Hotel in Davao City.

Seda Abreeza lit up a beautiful and elegant blue and silver themed Christmas tree last November 24, 2016 and it has been their tradition each year to do the ceremony a month before Christmas eve.  The theme for this year’s holiday season were touches of blue, white, and silver… a color scheme that best describes the season and the warm celebration of love and giving.  When lit at night, it is a sight to behold that makes you just think of the joys and blessings that came in this 2016.

It was a blessing to witness the SEDA ABREEZA Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as the urban lifestyle hotel in Davao welcomed the Yuletide season with a Christmas musical show.  Christmas music filled the air at Seda to set a relaxing and happy mood just right for the occasion (view the video clip HERE) brought by local artists from the talents of Davao’s Muzicskool.

Vocal trio ZAHLIA, a powerhouse of three talented ladies also performed a few songs to entertain the guests.

My boys and I have seen them perform recently last November 19 during the Christmas tree lighting of Abreeza Ayala Mall.

Ms. Kathy Namuag, Assistant Director of Sales delivered the welcome message and toast in behalf of the Seda Abreeza Hotel’s General Manager Mr. Kennedy ‘Ken’ Kapulong. Ms. Kathy highlights the gratefulness and the success that 2016 has brought for the Seda hotel in Davao City.

“We are in that exciting time of the year again. A time to be thankful for another year of success and for surpassing the little bumps on the road.  We in Seda Abreeza are always grateful that each one of you has supported and strengthened the partnerships we have made through the years.  This is our own little way of thanking you and making you feel that Christmas is truly here.”

The ceremonial lighting was graced by Seda Abreeza Assistant Director of Sales Ms. Kathy Namuag, with representatives from the Davao City government and tourism industry.

The event was expected to be attended by the highly respected executives of the ANFLO Group, the Consul Generals based in Davao City, The Eastern Mindanao Command, Department of Tourism, friends from the press, and top business partners.

And of course, what is a party at a hotel in this wonderful season without a Yuletide food showcase by no less than the Seda Abreeza’s culinary team which were served for cocktails.

Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Flores (not in the photos) attended to the finishing touches of this awesome and delightful dessert buffet spread when we were then waiting at the start of the event. Let’s just say… dessert comes first!
