The Great Kadayawan Trade Fair and Bazaar at the Davao Convention & Trade Center on August 16-19, 2012
The Great Kadayawan Trade Fair and Bazaar at the Davao Convention & Trade Center on August 16-19, 2012.
Here are some photos we can share just to give some idea of what you will see in there for a quick walk around. Photos shared are taken straight out of the cam taken with the ever handy SGS3 when it was not too crowded yet. As the day went on, more people were coming in especially during very late afternoon towards the evening.

Hubby wanted us to check this out. There were many people at their booth and I was only able to squeeze in take a few photos of their Brother sewing machine.
I wonder how much this machine costs.
Now our little guy got a little excited when he saw this truck with a Zoofari mobile ad.
IKEA Reseller that has now a new branch at Torres Street corner Mabini Street aside from their Matina branch in front of Ateneo Matina.
Our kid enjoyed the wooden toy train set that they are selling for P1,800.
This red bag caught my attention…
Outside Davcon you can see most of the food stalls so you need not worry that you’d ever get hungry going around braving the crown of shoppers in there this weekend. One of the food stalls you’d find is Dencio’s Kamayan.
We cannot help but notice Aloha’s Organic Garden which we have seen a few times before at the Sabroso Sunday Food Market. Just look at what they have for you!
We literally got hungry looking at this… maybe we could try them this weekend when we hopefully can come back again.
I wanted to try this Mt. Shake but I had to move on after waiting for more than a minute for my turn. Might just have to come back since I had to take photos of the other stalls while there aren’t too many people yet. Will try it next time.
I often see Little Kate’s Kitchen when we pass by going south to SM City Davao through Matina and Tulip Drive.
Now I think this Dimsum Talk booth is by Mandarin Abreeza branch. The guy in uniform you can see in the above photo attending to the customers is the waiter from the Abreeza branch of Mandarin. If you are looking for sipao and dimsum then head over to their booth if you visit DavCon this weekend.
Now I know some of you out there really like and you rave about Aling Foping’s Halo-Halo. Do you love it? I remain curious though I have tried them once quite a long time ago at MTS. Maybe I’d try this one again this weekend when we hopefully come back. I’d give it another chance. *wink*
Piyesta Davao takes part in the bazaar this year. Their floats are a must try. Our personal fave is the durian float and also the pandan float is worth a try.
Now this booth of the D’ Original Buko Express and you cannot help but notice the long line of people. We tried our luck before leaving DavCon to buy their fresh buko shake.
I gave up… LOL! Waiting in line was taking too much of our time and we already had quite a long day already. We left because we still have another place to go to and some people to meet later at the mall. I left still curious if it would have been really worth the wait in that long line and if it was more delicious that Coco Fresco which we tried at SM Davao. *wink*
Some other photos of the bazaar outside DavCon…
