Davao Photos: ECHOstore Davao Sustainable Lifestyle

Finally ECHOstore has opened a branch right here in Davao City! They had their blessing and soft opening last May 5, 2014..

ECHOstore is the first concept store of its kind in the Philippines. ECHOstore holds the shared vision of many like-minded people who advocate to nurture and sustain the Self, the Community, and the Planet.

Their Davao branch is still on soft opening. We have visited ECHOstore in Serendra before and we were really glad they have finally opened a branch right here in Davao City just recently.

It is their first licensed store branch outside Metro Manila. Their branches are in Serendra in BGC which we have visited twice during our annual family trips to Manila; another store in Podium, and then a licensed store in Centris Walk in Quezon City just like this new one in Davao City.

The ECHOstore Davao licensed store branch is owned by Leonilo Claudio with his daughter Sarah Claudio as licensee managing director. Sarah’s sister-in-law Elle Claudio is the store manager, who I met together with her husband Paolo who is Sarah’s brother, during our visit today. Sarah also owns For the Love of Prints (FTLP), a boutique print shop-service store that we saw located just right beside the ECHOstore Davao.

ECHOstore sells eco-friendly products and even organic and fresh produce and natural selections. I will try to post more photos on my next update.

I was happy to see that they also have organic produce from Amarelo Farms which is described as a more than 4 hectares of chemical free vegetable, herb and strawberry farm located in the mountain region between Davao City and Bukidnon. I have been looking where I could find their organic produce in the city. It’s good to know that I could find those organic produce at ECHOstore and ECHOcafe here in Davao.

They also sell the famous Malagos cheeses from Davao cheesemaker Ms. Olive Puentespina who we have met during various events in SM Lanang that we have been to including their Davao Gourmet Collective series.

Inside the ECHOstore Davao you will find the ECHOcafe, the sustainable food arm of ECHOstore that serves Pinoy breakfast dishes, healthy and delicious salads, hot and grilled sandwiches, as well as pasta dishes.

Locavore, natural and healthy food in a cafe promoting culture, community and coffee.

Try, like we did, their iced kapeng Pinoy using Chit’s Blend coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will be back soon for sure at ECHOstore Davao.
